Not Going Back

Humans, like any species, designs and builds for the future based on past experiences.    We hope we have learned something from our previous generations of human toil on our lives and our planet and work toward building a more sustainable future for the health and happiness of human and the planet.    Most would agree that when  our planet is not healthy around us, we can’t be healthy in our own lives.

I was completely taken back when our President Trump has proposed going back to energy policies and technologies  of the 1950’s and other extremely antiquated views of the world in his White House.gov issues website priorities.

Sound energy policy begins with the recognition that we have vast untapped domestic energy reserves right here in America. The Trump Administration will embrace the shale oil and gas revolution to bring jobs and prosperity to millions of Americans. We must take advantage of the estimated $50 trillion in untapped shale, oil, and natural gas reserves, especially those on federal lands that the American people own.

The Trump Administration is also committed to clean coal technology, and to reviving America’s coal industry, which has been hurting for too long.

– Whitehouse.gov  – America First Energy Plan

Although I was prompted to start this blog out of reaction to going back to coal, many of the other America First plans were equally concerning that takes us BACK 25-50 years to a different world order and lack of understanding of the world.  If you had never read a book or two on the history and geo-politics of our modern era, you might come to similar conclusions or results.

This website is a place to voice your ideas and comments about why you feel passionate about a particular part of the President Trump Issues manifesto is calling us to GO BACK when we need to move forward.

Please share openly, passionately, creatively with ideas that show and demonstrate a better understanding of the world, its issues and solutions.
